Walking a bit longer, some 15-20 minutes in the other (east) direction, lands you at the El Dorado County Fairgrounds, holding various community events all through the year. Old Main Street is 2 miles away; it will be said to be quite near but surely an active traveler would take on the journey, walking through “short” residential and commercial streets of town in most hearty travel environment.
